My target audience for my media product is stereotypically indie females aged around 17 - 25 years. Here I have shown the different representations for my target audience, and all the interests of my target audience. Many of these brands and interests are advertisements which would appeal to my audience in my media product. Looking at some of the pictures i have included the types of places that my target audience may visit, shopping brands/ habbits, tastes in music and food and drinks. I have used the picture/logo of topshop which is a vintage and indie store and also asked fellow "indie" students first hand what their interests are. I have included advertisements of the festival lattitude in which many indie people see as important to them and enjoy attending so this aims my product more towards my target audience.
Here i have shown some stereotypical images of the kind of target audience my media product would appeal to. This is because the picture shows my audience highly involved in music, fashion & enjoy hanging out with friends. The way in which these people are wearing thick rimmed glasses and sloganed tee's suggests that they are following an indie crowd in order to be unique and different through their use of fashion. Generally indie music is about following new bands and finding their talents before they become mainstream. Many of the people in my target audience would shop in charity shops looking for items of clothing that are able to reflect their personalities.
