What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

I have used the program photoshop C4 to enable me to create my full product, and preliminary task. The advantages of this is that it is a very useful program which includes a adjustments Panel.
By using this software i learnt how to select certain layers, and add layers for different sections of my cover lines.  However saving my work at a high quality with a high resolution, became a problem for me, as the file size was often to large to upload images to my blog whilst using Blogger. Learning how to select different layers was useful to me, because whilst creating my double page spread, i had to think wisely about text alignment, so that it was all readable and set out in an order logically this was because I did not want any text unreadable by being aligned over my image.

 when taking photographs I had to think carefully about the way i was going to take them and the camera angles, this was to make sure that i allowed myself with enough white space to include texts for feature lines and other photographs or advertisements, in which using a plain white studio backdrop I was able to achieve this. Already studying photography was benifical to me, because i already had knowledge on studio lighting and camera settings and this worked effectively in my images for my magazine. I used the computer program Blogger in which I upload all of my work onto, this was quite difficult again because i had no knowledge on this program and again the file size of my work became a problem when uploading as it only accepts jpg, gif, bmp and png images, with 8 MB maximum size, so when saving my work i had to make sure the resolution was smaller with a low image resolution to allow me to upload all of my work onto this program.
