Analysing my college contents page

I have tried to capture my student teenage audience by using graphic fonts and bright colours. I have also tried to make this more appealing, by putting each of my contents features on Polaroid photographs stuck with chewing gum to a student dorm room. On these Polaroid’s I have included pictures in which I found from my questionnaire students would be interested in seeing of, young attractive girls, fashion, Facebook and festivals. I would say looking at this contents page it is aimed more towards a young female audience, as the photographs show young attractive females in fashionable clothing. Another reason as to why you can clearly recognise this is aimed towards a younger audience will be through the use of imagery of minimal clothing, alcohol and smoking from one of the models in one photograph making an association with young youth rebellion. I really liked the idea of using gum to stick photographs together and to a student door, as usually young teenagers usually stick gum under tables in high school and also get punished for bad behaviour by gum picking off school tables. I have also used photographs such as festivals and Facebook to capture teenage interests in which from my college questionnaire I found teenagers would most likely want to see. I also tried to use bright colours and show I was focusing on a student magazine which was playful and fun.
